The Clifton Sanitation District will receive sealed bids at the District Office located at, 3217 D Road, Clifton, Colorado, 81520, prior to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019, for the 2019 Sewer Line Replacement Project. The project generally consists of installation of approximately: 4,807 lineal feet of 18” SDR-35 PVC Sewer line, 1,504 lineal feet of 15” SDR-35 PVD Sewer line, 152 lineal feet of 10” SDR-35 PVC sewer line, 462 lineal feet of 8” SDR-35 PVC Sewer Line, 

1,100 lineal feet of 4” SDR-35 PVC Sewer service line, 31 new manholes, interior coatings for new and existing manholes, 18,383 tons Import Trench Backfill, 6,350 Square Yards asphalt milling and replacement, Traffic Control, and miscellaneous grading and site work, and other appurtenant work. .

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 20, 2018, in the District Office Conference Room followed by a site visit. Attendance at the meeting is mandatory.

The District Office will stamp the date and mark the time received on all bids. Bids not received prior to the date and time indicated on the Invitation to Bid will not be considered. The District is not responsible for delays occasioned by the U.S. Postal Service, the internal mail delivery system of the District, or any other means of delivery employed by the Bidder.

Each Bid shall be submitted on a form furnished by the District and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the Bid and made payable to the Clifton Sanitation District, Colorado. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, both in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents and on forms provided by the District.
